Carolina Mech-Tech Services (CMTS) is a small, privately owned business that provides a niche in customized support services to the electronic industry both locally and abroad. We specialize in quick-turn printed circuit board needs, including both thru-hole and SMT technologies; specifically in manual application and human expertise for PCB rework, modifications and hand-build prototypes. We especially pride ourselves in our process and ability to screen all of your product's documentation during the prototype build - which undoubtedly promotes your product's fluidity when it is transferred to the large EMS providers for your mass production needs. Additional capabilities include pilot builds to further insure the automation process and manufacturability of your product and low-volume, scheduled, continuous builds.

Facility & Location
ESD controlled work space throughout, including ESD shop floor and grounded benches. Located just 7 miles north of Raleigh, NC, CMTS is quickly accessible to Raleigh, Durham, Cary, RTP and the surrounding areas. This allows for direct pick-ups and deliveries as needed when those emergency, quick-turn support needs arise.
Equipment & Tools
From 40awg wire and small hand tools to bench-top soldering stations and automated equipment, CMTS has the knowledge, expertise and willingness to get your job done, on-time and right. If there's something we cannot do, we'll let you know that up-front. We are not an international EMS provider for mass production needs. We are your link between design, mass production and possible rework after your product has been mass produced.
Scheduling and Turn Around Times
We ask that you notify us of your project needs as soon as possible. Typically, we can provide you with a quotation within 24 hours of notification and/or receipt of your documentation. This is provided that you are providing the materials (parts, boards and etc) for the work needed.
CMTS can provide services same day, next day, 2 to 5 day, 1 week, 2 week and so forth. Turn around times may vary with the complexity of the board and/or the task needed. Continuous shop services (weekly, monthly quarterly & etc) are also provided.
